By accessing or using DIY Nav Site ("the Service") at nav.lo8ol.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Service Description
DIY Nav Site is a personal navigation startpage that allows users to:
- Create and organize bookmarks and quick links
- Search across multiple search engines from a single interface
- Customize themes, layouts, and background settings
- View weather information and daily quotes
- Sync bookmarks across devices (paid accounts)
- Remove advertisements (registered and paid accounts)
The Service is provided "as is" and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
To access certain features (ad-free browsing, cloud sync), you must create an account. Registration is handled through Clerk using email verification codes. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
3.2 Account Responsibility
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 Email Verification
Account creation requires email verification via a one-time code sent to your email address. By registering, you confirm that you have access to the email address provided and authorize us to send verification and service-related emails.

5. Subscription Terms
Paid subscriptions are available through Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. The following plans are available:

5.1 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store, process, or have access to your full payment card information. Accepted payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Alipay, and WeChat Pay.
5.2 Automatic Renewal
Monthly and Annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current price for the plan. Lifetime subscriptions do not renew.
5.3 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices in the future. For existing subscribers, price changes will take effect at the next renewal date with prior notice via email. Lifetime subscribers are not affected by future price increases.
6. Refund Policy
7-Day Money Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your Pro subscription for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. Refund requests for renewal charges must also be made within 7 days of the charge date.
To request a refund, please contact us at support@nav.lo8ol.com with your account email and payment receipt. Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
Note: After a refund, your account will revert to the Free tier and you will lose access to Pro features, including custom CSS and early access. Cloud-synced bookmarks remain available in the Free tier.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other user accounts, or Cloudflare systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service
- Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect data from the Service without our express permission
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code
- Use the Service to store or share illegal, abusive, harassing, or pornographic content
- Attempt to circumvent any security measures, payment gates, or ad display mechanisms
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Engage in any activity that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure (e.g., denial-of-service attacks)
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its code, design, layout, and branding (excluding third-party services), is owned and operated by DIY Nav Site. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
User-generated content (bookmarks, links, preferences) belongs to you. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and sync this content solely to provide the Service to you.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DIY Nav Site and its operators shall not be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
- Service interruption, data loss, or corruption
- Damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is made.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
No Liability for Third-Party Services: We use Clerk for authentication, Lemon Squeezy for payments, Cloudflare for hosting, and Baidu Analytics for analytics. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or data practices of these third-party services. Please refer to their respective terms and policies.
10. Termination
10.1 Termination by You
You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account from the account settings page, which will remove your data from our servers (Cloudflare KV). LocalStorage data remains on your device until you clear it.
10.2 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your conduct could harm other users, third parties, or the Service
- Required by law or regulatory authority
- We discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice, where possible)
10.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination: your access to Pro features ends immediately (if applicable), your synced data in Cloudflare KV will be deleted within 30 days, and any remaining subscription period will be forfeited (unless a refund is requested within the 7-day window as per section 6).
11. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Material changes will be communicated via email (for registered users) or through a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance.
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply to these Terms.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through informal negotiation first. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be resolved in the courts located in California, USA.

14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DIY Nav Site regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
